Evan A. Valdes

I am a PhD candidate and Assistant Lecturer at Massey University's School of Psychology. My research interests include the topics of social, political, cross-cultural psychology, and intergroup relations. Through the lens of System Justification Theory, my thesis, explores the underlying cross-cultural and longitudinal mechanisms that influence individuals to perform normative and (non)-normative forms of collective action. My most recent paper has been featured on the AJSP Editors Podcast. I am also a member of the Ending Poverty and Inequality Lab (EPIC).
